in LPIC-1 (Linux Professional
Institute Certification
Level 1) from Linux
Professionnel Institute since may 2008.
- I am nominated
from the National Engineering School as
the coordinator of the professional
Masters TICE ("Technologies de
l'Information et du Commerce
Electronique") since 2005 and of LL
("Logiciels Libres") and SSI ("Sécurité
des Systèmes Informatiques") since 2008.
- I was nominated
as invited professor for one month in
2007 at the LIRIS laboratory of
Lyon2-university.
- I was the
chairman of the "Free Operating Systems
and Softwares" Spring School organized
in Gammarth-Tunisia from 21 to 25 March
2007.
- I was nominated
as invited professor for two months in
2006 at LIESP laboratory of INSA de
Lyon.
- I was the
chairman of the WIMTA’2005 conference
(forth Workshop on Intelligent Machines
and Their Applications) organized in
MONASTIR-Tunisia in March, 2005.
- I was the
chairman of the Matlab Winter School
organized in Tozeur-Tunisia from 26 to
30 December 2004.
- I am involved
in the Virtual University Project VCIEL
(Visualisation et Conception
Infographiques En Ligne) supported by
the AUF (Francophone University Agency)
with the collaboration of university of
Lyon2, University USTHB of Alger,
university of Lyon1, University of
Geneva, University of Lausanne EPFL,
university of Sfax.
- I was in
the scientific committee of the
WIMTA’2004 conference (First Workshop
on Intelligent Machines and Their
Applications) organized in
ENIS-Tunisia the 2004-07-06.
- I am
nominated from the higher ministry of
education to participate with the
consultative committee of the ministry
of telecommunication and transport for
the evaluation of some private
projects in the field of innovation
and Information Technology.
- I am the
supervisor of the technical committee
responsible for the maintenance of the
local Area network at the National
Engineering University of Sfax and for
the internet activities.
- I am the
supervisor of the administrative
committee involved in the elaboration of
technical documents related to the
computer machines, peripherals and
pedagogical material specification and
purchasing.
- I was the
chairman of the organization committee
of SCS’04 (Signaux, Circuits et
Systèmes) conference held in
Monastir-Tunisia from 18 to 21 March
2004.
- I was a member
of the organization committee of SSD’03
(Signals Systems and Design) conference
held in Sousse-Tunisia from 26 to 28
March 2003.
- I am invited
regularly (each year) for short research
visits to the INSA (Institut National de
Sciences Appliquées de Lyon-France) and
I3S (Image, Signal and Systems
Laboratory of Sophia Antipolis
University) to supervise co-directed
students.
- I was nominated
as invited professor for five months at
the multimedia laboratory LIM
(Laboratoire d’Informatique et du
Multimedia) of the Ecole Centrale de
Lyon in France to teach image
processing, supervise students, present
six seminars (on Fundamental image
pre-processing, image analysis, image
segmentation, image compression, JPEG
standard, JPEG2000 standard) and to
prepare some collaboration projects.
- In the
field of cooperation between the
University of Sfax and the Lock Haven
University of Pennsylvania (USA), I
was selected to be with the first
delegation who visited the Lock Haven
University of Pennsylvania (USA) for
six weeks (from 20 October to 30
November 2001) to have intensive
courses on scientific English and
Distance learning.
